Today we celebrated me!!
Today we drove out to Michigan State University, but it wasn’t for medicine or a check up, it was for a Celebration of Life! There was a lot of other dogs there, a couple of cats and even a pig! One cat rode around on his mom’s shoulder the whole time he was there. The pig walked around on a leash and let people pet him. Each pet there had a miracle story. Several had been in the ICU at MSU and many had not been expected to live. The students and volunteers had a nice lunch for us and the director of the program gave a nice speech. Each pet’s story was printed and posted on the walls along with their pictures. They gave each pet a gift bag, made a foot print for them and took our picture. We also got a tour of the new ICU and of the whole facilities. It was really nice to be able to see all of the places Murphy had been while he was there. And it was nice for my husband, since he’s never been out there with us. How wonderful to see all of these miracle pets!

Oh beautiful Murphy you should be celebrated! You are Warrior Extradinaire! Even the greatest minds in Vet care know you are something SPECIAL! Congratulations Murphy you deserve every minute of your special day!

Yay Donna. Thank you for sharing the celebration of Murphy’s life and his great achievement with us. This makes us all beam with love for you all. I am glad you got to go on a tour to see everything.

When the pig was neutered, after he went home he got sick…it ended up that he had a lot of adhesions from the surgery and ended up in the ICU for a few days. He’s only about a year old right now. He’s really sweet!

Oh thanks! I’m not sure what happened to your first comment, I never got it. Honestly, though, I know nothing about writing a blog! Lol I’ve been on tripawds for 3 years & just recently started this blog. I’m just learning as I go, and I keep discovering things and changing it along the way.
